Year Round Events - Self Guided
Picture
See all events in Google Maps
All Weather Walkers has seven Year Round and Seasonal Walks as illustrated on the map above. The start points for each walk are usually located in a local business and provide a 5 km or 10 km walk in the neighborhood. The start points are spread out over a 100 kilometer span of Southwest Washington. The walks offer a variety of views fromVancouver Lake on the West, to a university campus, a business park, along trails around lakes along the Columbia River, to a scenic overlook of the Gorge in Stevenson. Do one walk, or do them all! Come walk with us!
"Year Round" (or Seasonal) events (YREs) are map-guided and available any day of the year (or part of a year). They usually begin at a local business and have self-start registration areas. Besides a tutorial on the procedure, route maps and written directions are provided to guide you. These  types of events are especially popular with volkssporters who want to combine walking with business travel, or plan walking vacations. Check out our Rating System here.
